Becoming a Member
Over 700 youth are enrolled in Ventura County 4-H
Primary Members-4-H Ages* 5-8
Youth Members- 4-H Ages* 9-18
*Your "4-H Age" is your age by December 31 of the program year in which you are enrolled.

Process to become a New Member
1. Choose a Club
See list of 4-H Clubs to find one near you. Review the list of projects, meeting days, location to see if this would be a good fit for you.
2. Contact Club
Contact the Club Leader for the club you are interested in joining. You may contact more than one club in your search. Inquire to see if they are accepting new members, fees, projects, etc.
3. Choose a Project
Choose projects that are interesting to you.
4. Enroll online
Create a profile and enroll in California 4hOnline.
6. Get Approved
The County 4-H office will review and approve your enrollment. You will receive an email to your Family email account to confirm your enrollment status as Active. You will then be able to begin participating in 4-H events and activities.
Re-enrollment deadline- July 31
Project deadline- December 31
1. Update your profile
Log in to California 4hOnline. Update your family and personal information including Health Form for each member re-enrolling. Review and edit club and projects as needed. Submit your enrollment.
3. Get Approved
County 4-H Office will review member enrollment and approve. You will receive email confirmation that shows status as Acitve. You may now begin participating in 4-H events and activities.
