California Weed Science Society meeting next week

Just a quick plug for the 64th Annual California Weed Science Society Conference in Santa Barbara next week (January 23-25th).

A conference flyer and finalized agenda is attached.  This is always an excellent way to get updated on weed science issues in the state.  It is also a great way to keep up on your DPR continuing education hours (19.5 hr including 4 hr of laws and regulations!).

The program includes sessions on:
Weed School: Environmental Fate of Herbicides
General Session : The Value of Weed Control: What's it all Worth?

Breakout sessions:
    Agronomic Crops
     Aquatic Weeds
     Nursery and Greenhouse
     Roadsides, Utilities, and Industrial sites
     Turfgrass and Landscapes
     Tree and Vine
     Forestry, Rangeland, and Natural Areas,
     Vegetable Crops
     Laws and Regulations

There is also a poster session on current research, a student paper and poster contest, and an industry trade show.
