Our Ventura County Master Gardeners hold quarterly seasonal workshops focused on garden tasks appropriate for the time of year. These workshops are held on Saturdays at the UC Hansen Agricultural Center in Santa Paula.
Each session includes:
- Full day of informative gardening education
- Presentations by University of California Advisors and Horticulture Experts
- $50 registration fee includes:
- 2 morning and 2 afternoon presentations
- Continental breakfast, snacks, and lunch
- Docent-guided Faulkner Farm house and garden tour available
- Access to the unique Master Gardener Plant Sale
Summer in the Garden will be held on Saturday May 22, 2010 and will feature the following topics:
- Victory/Community Gardens
- Rose Care
- Compost
- Summer Tasks for the Home Gardener
