The Conejo Valley Botanic Garden will hold a Matilija Poppy Festival on Sunday May 2, 2010 from 1-5 pm.
The event is free.
In addition to the beautiful flowers, there will be many activities for those in attendance:
- Children’s activity
- Harp music by Judy Reiter
- Matilija Poppy Watercolors, Artist Elizabeth J. Miller
- Plant sale at the Kids’ Adventure Garden
- Starter plants for children
- Informational programs
Informational programs include
- Garden Tours: meet at the nursery at 1:00, 1:30, 2:00
- All Star Garden: at 2:30
- Owls and More: at 3:30
