UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR). This is our parent organization. True to the mission of the land grant universities, UC ANR connects the power of UC research in agriculture, natural resources, nutrition and youth development with local communities to improve the lives of all Californians.

UC ANR Research and Extension Center (REC) System. UC ANR operates nine Research and Extension Centers (RECs) throughout the state.  Extending from the Oregon border in the north, through the Sierra Foothills and Central Valley, along the Pacific Coast and south to the Mexican border, the REC System (RECS) covers rich and unique resources connecting research and extension activities to regional challenges and issues. The UC Hansen Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Santa Paula is part of the REC.
